Appointments
The Doctors are available for consultation in booked appointments during morning and afternoon surgeries. All consultations are by appointment only and can be arranged by ringing 01386 853809.

Test Results
It is the responsibility of the patient to phone for their test results, please phone 01386 853651 on weekdays.

Cancelling your Appointment
If you are unable to attend an appointment with one of the doctors or nurses, please telephone the surgery to cancel your appointment.

NEW DISPENSARY !

We are very excited to announce that we will soon be having a new dispensary at the surgery.

Work will start on 15th June so apologies in advance for any disruption you may experience. Expected to last approx 6 weeks.

The current phlebotomy room will become the new dispensary with purpose built shelving etc...

There will be no disruption to current dispensing, but obviously with builders present there may be a bit of noise and mess !

Minor Surgery

We perform cryotherapy for warts and other appropriate lesions twice a month. Please see your doctor, and then make an appointment through reception.

We have a modern, well-equipped facility and experienced staff who will make you feel very at ease. We deal with a large variety of problems and have access to histo-pathology services at Cheltenham General.

We have a strict policy on consent for minor surgery, and any patient under the age of 16yrs needs to be accompanied by an adult.

Meningitis C (meningococcal group C) (MenC) - one injection

At four months old:

At around 12 months old:

At around 13 months old:

Pneumococcal infection - pneumococcal conjugate vaccine (PCV) - one injection

Three years four months to five years old (pre-school):

Diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis (whooping cough) and polio (dTaP/IPV or DTaP/IPV) - one injection

13 to 18 years old:

Diphtheria, tetanus and polio (Td/IPV) - one injection

If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel you need to make an appointment with the practice nurse to discuss your travel arrangements. This will include which countries and areas within countries that you are visiting to determine what vaccinations are required. It is important to make this initial appointment as early as possible - at least 6 weeks before you travel - as a second appointment will be required with the practice nurse to actually receive the vaccinations. These vaccines have to be ordered as they are not a stock vaccine. Your second appointment needs to be at least 2 weeks before you travel to allow the vaccines to work.

Most travel vaccines are ordered on a private prescription and these incur a charge over and above the normal prescription charge. This is because travel vaccination is not included in the services provided by the NHS and therefore is a chargeable service.

To help us offer the appropriate advice, please collect a form from reception and make an appointment to see a practice nurse in our travel clinic who will be able to advise you on what vaccinations you require for your trip. Please make sure you give as much time as possible before your trip to see us, as some vaccinations have to be given several weeks before departure date. Thankyou.
